These training classes can shorten your learning curve when you're working with the Optim9000 System technology. The courses have been developed to provide you with a unique hands-on learning experience taught by qualified CampusWide personnel. Our goal is to make you as productive, effective, and successful as possible when you're implementing and maintaining your Optim9000 System.

What is the CampusWide Education Center?
Our affordable alternative to on site training that gives students the opportunity to network with other Optim9000 users. This gives you direct access to Optim9000 equipment, CampusWide technical personnel, and a comfortable learning environment free of outside interruptions. And, we think you'll enjoy getting away for a few days and visiting Phoenix.

Optim9000 System Basics
This session features a combination of lectures and hands-on exercises which will introduce you to the full range of the Optim9000 technology including card systems, card technology, system hardware, software structure, configuring readers, managing cardholders, and basic system operation.

Prerequisites

  • None

What Skills Will I Acquire?

  • Understand Optim9000 architecture
  • Set up and assign privileges to cardholders
  • Perform basic hardware troubleshooting
  • Understand the interaction of the HP9000 and the Optim9000 Network Processor
  • Perform fundamental system administration tasks
  • Overview of other Optim9000 System components

  • How to run multiple updates and imports
  • Perform a system startup and shutdown

You will obtain hands-on exposure to one of the most popular video imaging technologies from DataCard, which is closely integrated with the Optim9000 System. Learn about the computers, software, cameras, and other pieces of the puzzle that make up video imaging.

  • ID Works and Magna Printer functionality
  • Understand Basic video imaging networking
  • Learn how to print and store cardholder photographs and data
  • Understand the Optim9000 system and the video imaging system
  • Acquire practical card production and design techniques
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of tehDataCard station and printer
