AT&T CampusWide's Copy Machine Readers are space saving and easily mountable with a swipe-through style card slot. The Copy Machine Readers track the number of copies made and charge the cardholder appropriately, based on a predetermined price per copy. The CR2002 model has a keypad that allows account overrides or departmental charges to be accommodated.
The Copy Machine Readers' rugged metal construction make them tamper-resistant and enables them to withstand the abuse of high-traffic environments. They feature a one-line, 24-character Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) or a two-line, 20-character vacuum florescent display, depending on model, informing the cardholder of current copy status and account balance information after each copy session.
Each Copy Machine Reader is engraved with a diagram to assist the cardholder in properly inserting the magnetic-striped card.
An inactive timeout value which is set through the Optim9000 software for each location indicates the amount of time a copy machine remains active while a card is still inserted but no copies are being made. The Copy Machine Reader can store up to 2,000 transactions if offline. A Copy Machine Reader can be configured to not operate when offline in order to avoid unauthorized copies. If offline, the stored transactions are automatically uploaded when the reader returns online.
With full reporting capabilities, the Copy Machine Readers track location sales activity by each reader location. Reports can also be generated on the types of accounts that utilize the online Copy Machine Reader. Copier management has never been so easy.
