Playstation2 OniMusha opening (/image/movie/links00.pss)
decoded by DVD2AVI IEEE-1180 Reference iDCT
- I found some problem around Miha's IEEE-1180 Reference iDCT recently.
- 32-bit MMX/SSE MMX and 64-bit Floating Point iDCT still work fine.
- This is the sample picture and split sample stream (1167KB)
- Really weird bug. I am still trying to find out the real cause,
such as the coding of DVD2AVI, Reference iDCT, compiler options, or even CPU type.
- Before this bug is fixed, I suggest you choosing other iDCT algorithms.
- Tested under Intel P3-650 and Windows 98 SE
- BTW, CAPCOM invokes TMPGEnc B11e to encode this MPEG-2 video. Really amazing quality.
- It's possible to extract the LPCM or ADPCM audio track from PSS by PSS2WAV.
