                    [ - Remote TNI Phreaking - ]

You will need the following:

10mm hex wrench
Screwdriver (flathead)
Flashlight
Telephone w/line and jack

Phreaking TNI's is probably the easiest way to make a free call
or to test numbers that I've come across. A TNI (Telephone Network Interface)
is usually a tan, beige, or black box located on the side of a person's
home or telephone pole. Once you reach the TNI of your choice, pull out
your hex wrench and remove the bolt keeping the TNI shut. For newer ones
you will also need to remove a small screw with your flathead screwdriver.
Now once the box is open you will see some wires and a phone jack plugged
into the TNI. Replace that jack with the jack connected to your phone, and
you should begin to hear a dialtone. Now you are able to call anywhere
and have all calls billed and traced to whoever you are hooked up to.
I strongly recommend doing this at night for the odds of getting caught
are very small.
