What Is The Shadow Of The iNode?
The Shadow of the iNode is a developing organization of security researchers, programmers, networking people, and general technology/computer enthusiasts. . Are they Hackers?
We’ll never tell. >;-) What are they about?
We exist as an organization for one sole purposes: to share information (beit generic, specific, or what have you) about computers, communications, and the exploration of such. We are not a "hacker gang" who teams up to pick fights on message boards or IRC. We exist as a group only to share information and news such as new software, technology/security news, new hacking techniques, etc. What kind of structure do they have?
We are a "hackers of the round table" type organization, in that each and every member has just as much authority as his/her compatriot. Likewise, there is no "leader," or "chairpersons." All matters are discussed in meetings. Think you're leet enough?
SiN is currently accepting applications for membership. The
process is simple: go to the Digital
Xchange and post a message stating that you are going to attempt
application. Second, you must pass the preliminary "Hacking Test,"
we've set up (thanks to Synapse!). Passing the test doesn't require you to be
an elite ubercracker, but it will indicate to that you're not a complete
newbie. Finally, when you've passed, email ALL of us, tell us a little bit
about yourself (any hax you've done, specialties, etc), including the
password (just so we know you didn't cheat). When you've done this, you will
become an offical SiN affiliate, under review for membership. If you have any
