Australia btw a few years ago asked the .us to provide military support in east timor.. i belive the .us responsed at the time, (paraphrase), "we are not the police of the world. local regions must take care of their own affairs" (if someone can get the exact quote of this?). oh yah.. au is fucked up too in many ways, but thats maybe in later posts :) OK.. something on topic! looking at some *nix sources for /bin/cat with the -n option.. try creating a > 2g file of just newlines.. (lets say on x86) then cat -n file i haven't tested this, but i'm guessing its gonna look a little weird for various platforms (if you can wait that long). This may become an advisory in the future..
