SUBJECT: RX IMD Improvement

RX intermodulation distortion may be improved by reducing second 
conversion oscillator harmonic content and level. No adjustments are 
required. This may be applied to a unit specifically exhibiting out-of-band 
intermodulation distortion. It is, however, not a general improvement.

On the TX RX unit X44-1460-xx, perform the following changes;

R55  47k delete
C73 47pf to 33pf (CC45SLlH330J)
C74 100Pf 150Pf (CC45SLlH151J)

Add a shield between Q1, (R3,C5)and C73 (from L1 to near X1).

These changes are at the owners option, and may not be installed in-warranty.
