Subject: FT-847 Mod here it is
 Date Tue, 7 Apr 1998

I've received some preliminary information about the ft-847 mob.
It involves taking the cover off (which one I don't know) and
solder bridging jp1002 and jp1003 then powering up with the lock
button pressed. According to my source this will open the radio
completely. According to the mod, transmitting in the range of
33-37 Mhz candamage radio. I'm still waiting for my radio to try
it on.If anyone tries it please let me know the tx range.

Perform this mod at own risk

 Peter
