It has always annoyed me that there was an obvious "hole" in my
product line... being able to listen to raw audio on the AC power
line. Back in the old days that void was covered by the Xetron SPL-60
comb filter/amp. I recently bought a couple on eBay for around
$40.00 so I could play with them. Impressive... but not THAT
impressive... then again, it is "old" technology now. Thanks to the
introduction of switched capacitor filters, getting rid of the 50/60
Hz AC could be realitively easy. I tried my hand at developing a
product that would do the job and here it is...

. The 1059AF is a highpass filter with cutoff at 400 Hz. At 50/60
Hz the attenuation is well over -150 dB. Gain is 1 (unity). I
haven't priced it out yet but it looks like it will be around US
$210.00.
