warning about misuse of copyrighted text

As a warning I would like to share the following:

Yesterday I've been contacted by a customer of a tscm provider. The
person sent me a copy of the report he received after the tscm
provider carried out a "high grade tscm inspection" in a 30 rooms
office location.

After reading the 12 page report I concluded that about 10 pages of
this report concerns copy/pasted text from a tscm white paper a
published on my website a while ago. The other 2 pages were an
inventory of the investigated office spaces and a conclusion that no
bugs were found during the inspection.

Aside from the fee of USD 17850 for the tscm inspection, this persons
company paid an additional USD 2500 just for the "written report".

It is my opinion that this fraudster (30 offices in two days!!!) is
not a good "ambassador" for our profession so I decided not to let
this go as is.


First, if this "high grade tscm inspector" is part of this mailing
list I would like to ask him to contact me (off list). I would
appreciate a good chat with you.

Second, if there are list members familiar with other cases of copy/
pasted issues, I would appreciate all information about it.
