R20 bugfreq .ICF file problem to install

Hi Jim,

I have a problem importing your "bugfreq" ICF file into my R20 software

This is what i do:



A) I start the software called "CS-R20"

B) then i click on "File"

C) then i click on "Open"

D) then i select "bug[1].hunt.sequence" wich is your ICF file


Then i get a pop-up warning saying:

"File Error" "illegal Data"


how to solve it ?

I note that windows tells me it is a ICF file but funny enough it does
not have
an extension named .ICF (or .icf) when i add .icf to it ...it still
doesn't work

Then you mentioned that i might have to put in the serial number of my
R-20
is that:

the serial number of the receiver itself ?
or the serial number on the CD-rom (CS-R20) ?

It's confusing

the numbers on my CD-rom are:

CD270201-005 and the serial no is 001938

i am using the software without an attached R20 ....wich is possible
so the serial number of the receiver itself should not be of
importance.

Please clear this up and tell me wich numbers i should use and where i
should
put them (replace them)

I suppose i can do that by opening your file with the notepad and
replacing
certain numbers with my numbers ?

can you give me an example of that first line using my numbers instead
of yours ?
