Here is a antenna and stand combination that I recommend:

When you but the stand listed above you should get a collar that does
on the cop of the main post, and for about $25 extra you can get a padded
case that has space for two stand, and quite a few of the listed antenna.
Take the collar and mount your antenna to the collar offset as if it was
a mast, this way you have an easy on, easy off antenna.
If you are handy with a lathe you can machine a fitting that will let you
mount the antenna dead center right to the mast, and run the coax right
up the middle of the inside of the mast.
A little word of advise, peel the label of the tripod, and then fully
clean up the adhesive residue as this is the point where the collar binds
up when you are trying to close it up.
If you can arrange it I also suggest changing the upper segment of the
antenna to a hollow delrin rod or non-conductive pipe so that you have
minimal effect on the antenna pattern.
Total cash outlay is virtually nothing, value of cost vs value is
incredible.
I would suggest purchasing 2 or 3 antenna, at least two matching stands,
and one bag for every two stands.
