I first met David when I was eight as my parents (as new ministers)
interned at Teen Challenge for a summer, and David tried to convince me
at that age to attend seminary when I grew up and become a missionary,
and then while I was in the military he invited me to come work for him
providing close security when I got out, but I declined as I sought a
purely technical profession.
He was a close family friend, a good man, and he will be sorely missed.
