Some healthy percentage of people in prison are there
because a lawyer wouldn't keep quiet or didn't say the
right thing or didn't know the law or didn't do sufficient
research, or didn't have a good defense strategy, or didn't
put a client's interest first due to overwork, sloth, drunkenness
or drug abuse, vanity and ego, boredom, stupidity, fear of
failure, lust for success, or didn't like your looks or your
insulting or craven behavior, or just decided the client
is a loser who'll never pay for overbilling, and anyway,
yawn, who needs this endless courtroom shit, golf or
dames or a vacation or kiddie porn was more appealing.

Now federal agents are afflicted with the same shortcomings
and ambitions and boredom, so you are screwed if either
pack gets you in the crosshairs. They will work together to
take you down, pretending they are on different sides.
Lawyers and cops are law enforcers and by god that is
what they will do to you and get paid to do it. No crime,
no need for them. No guilty perps, no work.

You think you're innocent until proven guilty, what a baby.
What a loser. What a poor person. What a stigmatized
misfit.

Small choice between a federal agent and a lawyer. Now
what you gonna do to get away from your angry beloved
and neurotic kids and deadbeat relatives and catatonic
bosses and get down to sucking the blood of your own
hapless clients.

I have a church for refuge when you are running from
everybody out to get you, takes a lot of coin to enter.
