Along the lines of a standard 'drill', my thoughts are of a old style hand =
drill. You can control the speed and depth and of course, no motor noise.

FWIW,When someone mentions "tscm drill", I think of an incorrect term for=
a
drill that creates minimal noise for boring through drywall, sheetrock et=
c
for discrete installation work. I also think of something in the form of =
a
practex or practical exercise.
Subject to debate, but I believe what you posted may have been labeled as
passive elicitation, "seeding", and autonomous collection in the past.
All effective depending on the arena, but also effective for passing on to=
a
client after a sweep.
