My identifying the problem and trying to get the proper people
dealing with it is in no way a 'hate crime', nor is it
unprofessional.
In my opinion, to discuss the matter with those affected only
reinforces
their affliction, and you become an 'enabler', possibly making
the situation worse, which is far more unprofessional.
I was first trained in TSCM in the '70's, I have conducted a
sweep or two since then. I was trained to recognize the
'threat', and have no qualms about telling a possible client
when the threat is something I cannot deal with as a TSCM tech.
To do anything else would be unprofessional.
Having dealt with maybe a dozen of these types of events over
the years I do have some experience in these matters, and it is
from that experience which I speak. When the client tells you
"the aliens caused a problem in the MRI so it wouldn't see the
implant in my brain" what do you tell them? Better to try to
get them to seek proper help immediately. I stand by my
opinion.
