Subject: TSCM Paper and Ink For HP7132
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

In a few weeks I will have the next shipment of custom 7132 pens and
paper in house, and will be ready to send out pen/ink sets about two
days later to those lists members who placed orders. I will not
charge your CC until they actually leave here. If you are a hardcore
engineer you know how these puppies are used, and you know how really
tough the expendable supplies are. The paper has a five digit serial
number stamped along the edge at 11 inch internals.

I ordered several hundred extra pens in each color (a premium oil
based Bright Red, and Bright Blue), and the matching COATED paper
rolls on a 1/10th inch light green grid. The paper is heavy duty
archival quality, and the ink will not bleed though the paper even at
the slowest speed. I expect that this batch will only last a few
months, so you need to start placing your orders for next batch I
bring in early May.

Also, if anybody wants to have their 7132 rebuilt, or
cleaned/lubricated I can also help you out, but I strongly discourage
refurbing the thermal stylus versions, or the "inkwell" style as they
are not work the refurbishment cost. My turn around time is two
weeks, and I have plenty of new repair/refurb parts and can do a full
rebuild with new parts and recalibration for a fixed flat fee.

I recommend that for each eight cable pairs (16 wires) that you plan
to consume 3 blue, and 3 red pens, plus at least 2 rolls of coated
paper. For spectrum charts I recommend an 8 foot chart for every 10
MHz below 50 MHz, and an 8 foot chart per 100 MHz between 50 MHz and
3 GHz. I tend to pull what ever pens are left in the chart recorder
at the end of each day and discard them and recommend that others do the same.
