Kapersky is doing a fine job of diverting attention from the
malware it distributes beneath the cloak of what it so valiantly
discovers.
To be sure, all the AV firms are hard at work generating attack
software to boost their products, nothing new about that ying
and yang of security racketeering.
Called beta testing, experiments gone south, coding errors,
incomplete works in progress or simply NDA, no comment,
no way we would be associated with that kind of stuff.
The AVs are fingerpointing at each other so avidly you'd think
they were all duping the public on behalf of the spies -- all the
spies, counterspies, counter-counter-spies, double-crossers,
triple-crossers, rogue nations, nations of freedom-loving,
contractors for all these and counter-contractors working
against all these.
Not that AVs are new: anti's have been forever the best friends
of pro's. Angels are fallen devils.
