Now Known Covert Cell Phone

Ok, now that we = know that the device is a stripped down cell phone I have some observations= /questions:

<= ![if !supportLists]>1.       = Is the reason that the perp stripped down the phone and removed t= he display so that if the device is discovered it would not be easy to iden= tify the cell phone number and ESN?

2.       The inte= nt of using a modified cell phone would be for covert audio listen, yes?

3.     &n= bsp; Could a phone like this be modified to collect= audio on a VOX basis and send audio files out after the fact compressed?

4.<= span style='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'>     &= nbsp; With the phone’s GPS enabled is it poss= ible for the perp to call the covert phone and retrieve the GPS location hi= story file?

5.   =     Would it be possible to modify a= phone like this to have full GPS tracking capability with the phone callin= g the listening post real time or at intervals to report location informati= on?
