If you can't compete in the marketplace then get a patent and then block th=
e product. Banking regulation was there to protect people from the bank fa=
ilures of the depression, we relaxed the regulations and we bailed out the =
banks to stave off another depression. Put the regulation back, legislators=
! Oops, I forgot they paid for the advertising to get you re-elected.

9/11 was something catastrophic, but look at the civil liberties you gave u=
p, in the illusion of being 'safe' Israel has had hostile neighbors and ter=
rorist acts acted on their state since its inception, yet they have much mo=
re civil liberties than most Americans, that were supposed to be protected =
from the state by the constitution. The constitution and laws that violate =
it are subject to the current rulings of the "Men in Black", who as duly ap=
pointed members by the government tend to side with the current government =
more often than not.

After Dec 7th, 1941, the Japanese were interned and suffered loss of proper=
ty and their civil rights, other enemy aliens or American citizens from Ene=
my States were not subjected to such abuse. Much easier to hide a spy when =
you can't tell by using your eyes to narrow your search.

James, has the appellate court agreed to see your action. I'm guessing the=
 lower courts rejected it.

Really though - we can complain and tell people but the situations are too =
far gone and integrated to undo per se. Likewise the network of espionage, =
back room deals, bankers, etc. have been equivalently hostile to "transpare=
ncy" for many more decades than fiber was laid.

I'm wondering why people don't get better educated on just flat-out competi=
ng. Increasingly "competing" is about b*tching about who is playing unfairl=
y. I'm not sure that's a winning line of thought..

How do we get THAT message across? -Ali
