Is it possible to talk in an open forum about what to do about
these security issues, often a matter of life and death and
not merely sacred personal privacy, high-office adultery and
SOS global business and government thievery?

Nearly all aggreived parties must exaggerate their risks,
needs, capabilities and deep, hard-boiled wisdom to compete
with the others using ever bigger megaphones defend their
lying, cheating, stealing and killilling innocents in the name
of saving fat-assed bitchers who are well indoctrinated to
shoot the shinola on behalf of their own penny-ante cult.

Security is a villainous racket no matter what adjective leads or
follows it. Goddam it, I'm serious, you fucking moron, gimme
a beer.
