MATLAB Example Program

An example Visual Studio Project written in C# is located in the %PROGRAMFILES%\Agilent\89600 Software xx.y\89600 VSA Software\Examples\SCPI\Matlab\ folder that demonstrates the following concepts:

• Connecting and disconnecting the SCPI session with basic exception handling
• Setting the instrument timeout period
• Presetting the VSA application and measurement
• Checking to see if the VSA application is running and how to start the VSA if it is not running
• Starting a measurement and waiting for operation complete
• Querying trace data in ASCII and binary data formats
