Agilent Infiniium Windows 7 Upgrade

NOTE: This upgrade process is intended only for Infiniium units with the M890 motherboard.
      To identify an M890 motherboard, look for "Core 2 Duo" in Computer->Properties.

NOTE: The Windows 7 upgrade process will completely reformat the hard drive of your Infiniium oscilloscope.
      Please Save Important User Files Prior to the Windows 7 Upgrade Process.
      Use the InfDataSaver.exe tool to save/restore cal/license files when upgrading from Windows XP to Win7.

Saving User Files:

+ Insert a writable/removable media into an available USB port. (Select 'Find Media')
+ Run "InfDataSaver.exe" and select 'List Local Files'.
+ After assuring adequate space on your removable media, select 'Copy to UFD'.
+ Select 'Compare' to verify the copy.
+ Copy additional important files to your removable media.

Perform the Windows 7 upgrade:

+ Insert the Windows 7 Upgrade UFD into a USB port on your Infiniium.
+ Restart your Infiniium machine then press F12 during bootup.
+ Select the USB Flash Device for booting.
+ The process is complete when Windows Setup and necessary reboots have completed,
  and the Infiniium desktop background is displayed.
+ Change your computer name from its WINDOWS- default to its previous 'XP' name.

Restore User Files:

+ Reinsert your removable media, run InfDataSaver.exe, select 'List UFD Files' and then 'Restore to Inf'.
+ Restore files that were saved in step 5.
