   New Ruggedized Mainframe E1881A will go on CPL on September 1st for $24,900.00 U.S. List.
Delivery on September 1st will be 8-15 weeks. NRE has been paid for by U.S. Navy, so no
NRE charges. Also, There will not be a Tempest Filter on the CPL version.

The fans take the following power requirements:  6 fans that take 2.4watts,
and 3 fans at 5 watts.  They are powered off of the 12 volt supply.  They
can be run off of the 24 volt supply as well.  These may change, as we are
just now going through our final design testing.  I'm not sure what spec's
from the fans the customer wants to know other than this?  

We have already moved to a bigger power supply, ie more current and better
temperature spec's. The prototype that has been on tour in Australia has a
smaller supply.  The weight is to be under 65 pounds.  

Yes the cables can be brought underneath and out the back. The design
allowed for enough clearance to mitigate shock and leave room for the
cables.  The customer can mount mass interconnect on the back plate of the
mainframe, or they can arrange for HP to provide 'custom' special that will
mount the connectors on the back for a price.
