HP 10705A Single Beam Interferometer

The HP 10705A Single-Beam Interferometer, the smallest linear interferometer, is designed for making low mass or limited space single-axis measurements. It is ideal for use in disk drive and other confined-space applications. The HP 10705A can be used to bend the beam, but it cannot be used as the moving component. It includes one HP 10704A Retroreflector as the reference reflector. An additional HP 10704A is required to complete the single-beam interferometer optic set.

The HP 10705A is one member of a family of measurement optics that tailor interferometer systems for the physical layout and measurement requirements of each application. Configured with appropriate laser head and system electronics, the optics are part of a precise positioning system providing the highest positioning accuracy, resolution, and repeatability.

HP 10705A Single-Beam Interferometer Opt 080 Fiber-Optic Receiver Adapter

The HP 10710A Adjustable Mount is available for use with the HP 10705A. The HP 10705A is supported in combination with the HP 10704A Reflector and the HP 10713C/D 1/2- and 1/4-inch Corner Cubes. The HP 10705A can be used in a variety of laser-interferometer positioning systems including the HP PC compatible and VMEbus compatible systems.
