HP 1088XX PC Electronics Family

The HP 1088XX family includes ISA-compatible boards that easily integrate with PC-based equipment to create versatile positioning systems. Choose either the HP 10889B PC Servo-Axis Board for a closed-loop positioning solution, or use the HP 10885A PC Axis Board for open-loop measurement or for providing position data to custom servo electronics. The HP 10886A PC Compensation Board -- used with either axis board -- compensates for environmental effects and improves measurement accuracy and reliability.

HP PC-based laser interferometer positioning systems include laser, optics, and electronics subsystems. The electronics detect and count the light and dark interference fringes, process the data, and output distance information. Typical applications include servo-track writing on high-density disk drives, X-Y stage positioning for IC inspection and repair, and custom test and manufacturing systems.
