HP 1142A Probe Control and Power Module![]()
|
When used with the HP 1141A, the HP 1142A Probe Control and Power Module controls input coupling modes dc, dc with variable offset, and dc reject. Dc reject, like ac-coupling, blocks the dc component in a signal without degrading low-frequency CMRR which occurs when ac-coupling is accomplished by use of blocking capacitors. Variable offset capability in the HP 1142A allows viewing of very small signals on large dc voltages, without attenuating low frequency ac components or causing sag from ac coupling.
Offset and coupling control is not usable with the HP 1145A or HP 1144A.
HP 01144-61604 one-input, two-output adapter (order separately) can be used with 1142A to provide power to two probes.
