HP 16500H 10Base-T Interface Module

Bring logic analysis to your computer with the HP 16500H interface module. It connects the HP 16500B mainframe to Ethernet local area network (LAN) via a 10Base-T (twisted pair) LAN interface. It also has a high speed parallel interface specifically designed to work with the HP 16505A prototype analyzer.

For a 15-pin connector and compatibility to 10 Base2 (coaxial cable) or 10Base-T media attachment units, use the HP 16500L.

• Remote Viewing and Control
  Now, you can view your display from a networked computer via Ethernet LAN using X Window software. With the interface module (HP 16500H) installed, this logic analyzer responds to mouse and keyboard inputs from your workstation, PC, or any other computer supporting TCP/IP networking and X11R5.

• Easier Documentation and Archiving
  Use File Transfer Protocol (FTP) commands or the Network File System (NFS) to move screen image files, ASCII data files, and binary data/configuration files across your network. Then add these files to your documentation or archive them for later use.

• Programming Control Over the LAN
  The same programming commands that control the mainframe (HP 16500B) via HP-IB and RS-232 work with the LAN interface.

Installation Information:

An HP 16500H interface module that is ordered with an HP16500B mainframe will come installed in the mainframe. Modules and mainframes that are ordered separately will require installation. Instructions and required tools are provided with the interface module.
