HP 18294A WAN Protocol Analyzer X.21 Interface Pod and Software

The X.21 interface kit equips the HP Internet Advisor with X.21 testing and troubleshooting capabilities. The pre-written test programs included with the interface kit make X.21 problem solving fast and easy.
A block-error-rate test program checks the integrity of an X.21 network connection, and a call-error-rate test determines how many attempted calls are actually getting through the network. All tests are interactive, and require no programming. A switch lets you hold the data transfer phase while loading other tests.

63 bit pattern block-error-rate test requires an analyzer on each end of the network.
Establish and clear a call skeleton program for users to write their own programs for use during data transfer.
Runs through buffer data and indicates the X.21 states that are present.
Measures call-error-rate on an X.21 interface over a period of time.
Generate incoming and outgoing calls or responds to incoming calls that implement regular and enhanced sub-addressing.
