Order the DMM Field Installation kit to add measurement capabilities to any HP 34970A mainframe that was originally ordered with option 001 (delete DMM). The field installation kit comes with a fully calibrated DMM, installation instructions, and a Quick Start Kit (includes HP Benchlink Data Logger software, an RS-232 cable, a thermocouple, and a screwdriver).

Since the DMM is fully calibrated at the factory and holds its own calibration constants, the installation procedure does not require an instrument calibration and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
