The HP 58509F provides the gain needed to overcome cable losses associated with installations where a GPS receiver and its antenna must be separated by large distances. Because it incorporates an L1 bandpass filter, the HP 58509F provides and additional 30 dB out-of-band rejection to minimize interference problems from co-located transmitters.
