HP 59307A VHF Switch

Switches are independent and bidirectional for optimum use in multiplexing 50-ohm signal lines into measuring instruments. The HP 59307A accepts outputs from synthesizers, pulse generators, or other sources, and routes these outputs to various points. It can switch a standard delay, frequency, or voltage into a measurement loop for system calibration purposes.

REAR PANEL


Address Switch Assembly: Switches A(sub)1 through A(sub)5 establish
listen address on bus. Switches A(sub)6 and A(sub)7 are not used.

In/Out Terminals, Groups An and B: 50 ohm BNCs numbered to
correspond with front panel switches. One of four outputs for each input
(or vice-versa) are selectable under front panel or program control.

Bus Connector: 24-pin connector (1251-3283: Amphenol 57-2-240-2);
mates with cable HP 10631A/B/C.


FRONT PANEL

On Indicator: Light means the 59307A is powered.

Remote Indicator: Light means the 59307A is under the control of
remote programming.

Local Reset: Pushbutton resets to front panel control unless “local lockout”
command has been given.

Pusbuttons, Set A and Set B: Provide local control for switch settings.
Light means that position is connected to the common (regardless of whether
59307A is under remote or local control).
