A modular HP 64700B card cage is the foundation for HP's integrated solution for real-time, embedded system development. A flexible, modular architecture allows you to switch development tools to support 8-, 16-, or 32-bit processors without incurring the cost of a complete emulation system.

There are six card slots in the card cage that accommodate HP 64700 series development tools.

Also included are Flash EEPROMs and LAN capability along with RS-232 and RS-422 connections. The card cage host control card contains all communications and system configuration firmware. System, emulation, and analysis firmware is always resident and may be updated by the user.

The HP 64700 Series emulators offer a LAN connection so that you can share a central emulator and target from either a PC or workstation. The connection supports rapid file transfers at rates of up to six megabytes per minute for increased productivity.
