HP 82351F PC Test-Automation Kit for PCI Bus

The HP 82351F bundle includes HP VEE 5.0 plus the new HP 82350A PCI HP-IB card. This high-speed, 16-bit card makes it easy to access and control instruments from a Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) based personal computer. Its built-in buffering decouples HP-IB transfers from PCI bus transfers and provides input/output and system performance superior to direct memory access. Data being transferred from the instrument to the PC can be accepted by the buffer, even if the PC is busy. The HP 82350A allows data transfers of up to 750KB/s.

This kit provides everything you need to connect your PCI-based PC to HP-IB instrumentation. The kit includes the HP 82350A high-performance HP-IB card bundled with the HP VEE visual programming language (version 5.0), additional I/O software and instrument drivers, plus a 2-meter cable.

This automation kit is priced lower than its individual components, enabling you to save both time and money when automating PC-based test stations.

• HP 82350A: A high-performance PCI card with built-in buffering. It decouples HP-IB transfers from PCI bus transfers. Buffering provides I/O and system performance that is superior to direct memory access (DMA) - up to 750KB/sec.
• HP VEE 5.0 (E2120F): A powerful visual programming language that simplifies test development and automates instrument configuration. Version 5.0 supports Active X controls that add application-specific functionality and provides ActiveX Automation links to databases, spreadsheets, and other software applications. Training courses, email user groups, and 90-day complementary startup support ensure that you get the help you need to get started quickly.
• HP I/O Libraries: Software for instrument control for Windows 95/NT
• Software Drivers: For commonly used VXI and HP-IB instruments.
• HP-IB Cable: A 2-meter cable is provided to connect your PC to your instrumentation.
