The HP 85301B antenna & radar cross-section measurement system provides the instrumentation necessary to perform either automated far-field antenna pattern or radar cross-section measurements. It uses the HP 85310A distributed frequency converter for microwave signal down-conversion. This fundamental mixer-based system provides excellent sensitivity and RFI immunity for outdoor ranges. The standard system operates over the 2 to 20 GHz frequency range, with options available to extend the range from 100 MHz to 110 GHz. The HP 85301B system includes two HP 8360 series synthesized sweepers as RF and LO sources, system cabling, HP-IB extenders, and a system rack. The system also includes on-site installation and performance verification, one day of consulting with an HP applications engineer, and one-year on-site service.
