Measure Personal Handy Phone System (PHS) personal and cell station transmitters operate easily, quickly, and reliably. The HP 85726B PHS personality provides tests based on RCR STD-28. Measurements included are antenna power, adjacent channel power, burst ramp-up and ramp-down power versus time, carrier-off time leakage power, spurious emission, occupied bandwidth, and modulation accuracy measurements.

1The HP 85726B is supported on the HP 8590 E-series with
   firmware date coded 940822 or later.  HP 8590 E-series
   spectrum analyzers conform to the environmental specifications
   of MIL-T-28800, Class 5.
2Required unless 10 MHz external precision frquency reference
   is available.
3Provides amplitude accuracy to +/-0.5 dB.
4Option 105 is required if the gated methos (RCR or MKK)
   carrier-off-time leakage power measurement is used.
5If modulation accuracy measurements arNOT needed, Options 151
   and 160 are not required.
6If Options 151 and 160 are not ordered, Option 101 and HP 85902A
   are required for proper operation of the HP 85726B for burst power
   vs. time, carrier-off-time leakage power and spurious measurements.
