HP 9420A Rack Mount ICA, High Density (21 Slots)

The HP 9420A Interface Connector Assembly (ICA) provides connections to and from the VXI and other measurement equipment. It mounts directly to the test rack and mates to the HP E9421A Interface Test Adapter (ITA).

The HP 9420A Interface Connector Assembly is used under the following conditions: 1) a significant portion of ICA connections are not wired directly to a single VXI mainframe; 2) the density and power requirements do not exceed 4,032 general purpose pins and 250 Vac, 30 A per pin; 3) visibility of VXI plug-in modules is required; and 4) a significant cable area is required behind the interface.

The Interface Test Adapter (ITA) provides connections to/from the Unit Under Test (UUT). The HP 9421A Interface Test Adapter (ITA) module mates with the HP 9420A ICA for quick and easy connection. A custom UUT interface may be built onto the ITA.

Additionally, general purpose connector blocks/cable assemblies (HP 914XX, HP 915XX series), coaxial connector blocks/cable assemblies (HP 914XX series), power connector blocks/cable assemblies (HP 914XX series), and special purpose connector blocks/cable assemblies are available for use with the HP 9420A product.
