HP B3740A Real-Time Software Analyzer |
The HP B3740 real-time software analyzer combines the versatility of a logic analyzer with an interface tailored to software developers. Use this software analyzer to link your real-time trace to your high- level source language. Coupled with the HP 16505A prototype analyzer, the software analyzer provides a source code view of program execution.
It uses any of the HP 1655XA state and timing logic analyzer modules to
acquire data. These modules let you use symbolics to set up trace
conditions, using a trigger macro library designed for software
developers.
If your language system generates a different file format, a generic ASCII format is supported. You simply create an ASCII file, which maps symbol names to addresses.
