HP E1483A VXLink Direct VXI Connection for External PC Controllers

The HP E1483A VXLink provides a direct connection from your PC to a VXI mainframe. VXLink includes an ISA card that installs in your PC, a C-size, 1-slot, message-based commander VXI module that plugs into the VXI mainframe, and a 3-meter cable that connects the two. VXLink does not require a separate command module in the VXI mainframe; the VXLink VXI module goes into slot 0. System performance is greater than those VXI systems configured with a command module. VXLink includes complete development software. The software includes EPConnect, SICL, VISA, and I-SCPI drivers, and other software tools that dramatically reduce the time and effort required to develop and integrate your system. VXLink supports Interpreted SCPI (I-SCPI). (VXLink occupies 64 K of upper memory requiring 64 K of memory in either the D000 or E000 upper memory block.)
