Product Summary
The HP E2434C preprocessor interface provides an easy way to connect
an HP logic analyzer to a target system using the Intel 80C186EC and
80C188EC.

Product Features
- All necessary clocks are generated by the preprocessor ensuring
that the data is captured at the correct time.
- Software is shipped with the product that automatically configures
the logic analyzer by generating labels for address, data and status
signals. Included with the software is a disassembler that displays
execution traces in 80C186 microprocessor mnemonics.
- Instructions that are prefetched, but not executed, are marked in
the trace display.
- Each preprocessor provides unbuffered timing analysis for all
signals.
- When using QFP versions of the chip, the preprocessor provides
probing points to take parametric measurements.

Pods Required
Six pods allow timing measurement of all processor signals.
<Note: Each preprocessor has three connectors available for state
analysis with additional connectors for timing analysis for all
signals. For disassembly, three pods must be used. All signals used
in disassembly can be double probed for state and timing analysis.
Adapters
A 100-pin clip-on adapter for a soldered-on QFP (EIAJ) chip is
included. The adapter can be installed in either one of two
orientations for best physical compatibility with the system under
test.
