Packing up to 6 channels and up to 108 hours of video, the HP MediaStream Broadcast Server takes advantage of MPEG-2 4:2:0/4:2:2 compression technology for award-winning picture quality and superior storage efficiencies. It may be used as a stand-alone unit or connected to other HP MediaStream Servers or Disk Recorders through Fibre Channel networking, for virtually unlimited channel expansion.

The superior reliability of the HP MediaStream Broadcast Server is based on such features as redundant fans, hot-swappable power supplies and the built-in redundancy of standard RAID-protected, hot-swappable disk drives.
