Product Summary

The HP E4208B system disk is a C-size, 1-slot VXI module that provides the mass storage you need when space is at a premium and transportability is crucial. The 1-GB HP E4208B replaces the HP E4208A 540-MB disk module. The HP E4208B connects the disk to your controller or workstation via the SCSI interface, not through the VXI backplane. This means controller communication with the disk won't interrupt--or be interrupted by--traffic on the VXI backplane. The HP E4208B SCSI disk module comes standard with a built-in hard disk drive and a 21-MB Floptical disk drive.
