HP E4540A Distributed Network Analyzer Software

Use HP E4540A distributed network analyzer (aka VISION) software for remote, interactive control of HP 377xxx PDH, SDH and ATM test sets.

This software enables you or a centralized support team to remotely run test sequences and interactively control test sets, enabling problems to be analyzed and resolved faster. Users can transfer results to other Windows^®-based applications and so provide detailed quality of service information for managers and customers.

This Windows-based software with graphical user interface operates on a PC or laptop which is connected to the remote test set via Hayes-compatible modems. Also order option USS distributed network analyzer firmware and an RS-232-C remote-control interface option for the test set.

Targeted primarily at OAM support, the HP E4540A DNA software means fast effective installation and maintenance, on a world wide basis, from a local support center.

HP E4540A Distributed Network Analyzer (DNA) Software Compatible with PC or laptop running Windows 3.1, Windows NT^® or Windows 95 software. Also order if required . . . Opt OA9 License to use for up to 10 copies. Opt UAT License to use unlimited copies. Remember that HP 377xxx instruments to be controlled by HP E4540A DNA software must be fitted with Option USS (HP distributed network analyzer firmware). Remote modem: As at controller site - 2400 b/s Hayes-compatible with MNP-5 (or better) error correction.

Requirements:

Minimum PC configuration: 80486 processor, 3.5-inch disk drive, 
8 MB RAM,  20 MB free hard disk storage and 33 MHz clock speed.

Modem: 2400 b/s Hayes-compatible with MNP-5 (or better) error 
correction.

Media format: 3.5-inch disks supplied as standard.
