HP E5180A Broadband Launch Pad

The HP E5180A Broadband Launch Pad is a flexible console application that makes remote ATM testing easy. It allows you to centrally control broadband test instruments that are installed in your network.

The HP E5180A Broadband Launch Pad has been specifically designed to work with the HP E5200A Broadband Service Analyzer to provide remote testing and analysis of ATM based services.

You can integrate the HP Broaband Launch Pad with HP OpenView and start the HP Broadband Launch Pad application from an HP OpenView console.

The HP E5180A Broadband Launch Pad can launch the user interface of multiple E5200A Broadband Service Analyzers. You can perform real-time analysis at different points of the network simultaneously, all from a centrally located workstation. This means that you can immediately utilise your experts to quickly isolate and rectify problems without having to spend time and money travelling from site to site. The result is that your customer's services are restored to their optimum level in the shortest possible time.

You can launch the HP Broadband Launch Pad to:

Select from a list of known HP Broadband Service Analyzers and remotely launch their Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) on the local display.
Maintain an accurate record of test instruments installed in the network. This includes the instrument's attributes, such as location, serial number, software revision, IP address and contact details at that remote site. You can add, delete or modify the details of the instruments connected to the network.
Establish a telnet session and access the HP Broadband Service Analyzer's System Administration Functions (SAF).
PING to an instrument to verify continuity of the connection.
Integrate user defined UNIX scripts to provide access other to other equipment.
