The HP E5574A is a high performance solution in one compact instrument for the complete optical loss analysis of passive optical components. With a few keystrokes it will precisely measure the polarization dependent loss, polarization dependent coupling and splitting ratio, the insertion, excess and return loss. Of course, it will also measure the absolute output power of active devices.
