HP E7822A ATM Forum UNI 3.0 ATM Layer Conformance Test Suite for End Systems

The HP E7822A ATM Forum UNI 3.0 ATM Layer Conformance Test Suite for End Systems is designed to test the Cell Layer function at the UNI for ATM End Systems or CPE such as routers, ATM interface cards, etc. The ATM Forum Cell Layer Executable Test Suite (ETS) for UNI End Systems is an implementation of the ATM Forum ATM Layer Conformance Abstract Test Suite (ATS) for End Systems based on the ATM Layer protocol as described in the ATM Forum ATM User-Network Interface (UNI) Specification, Version 3.0. The ATS has been approved by the ATM Forum.

ATM Network equipment manufacturers and network operators can expect to achieve higher confidence with regard to their implementation with this automated conformance test software.

• Flexible data recording and playback capabilities built-in to the interface's trace window simplify the review of frames and cells transmitted
• Clear verdict assignments for each test case run (such as PASS or FAIL)
• Test repeatability achieved by saving test session setups and results
• Test campaigns easily configured via interactive True/False or value setting questions for most PICS, PIXIT and other types of statements
• Comprehensive multi-level online help available
