Product Summary

The PCMCIA Interface Card from ines connects a laptop PC to HP-IB instruments, controllers, and command modules. It includes a miniature HP-IB card that slides into the PCMCIA port of the laptop PC, the HP-IB cable that connects the card to the instrumentation or command module, and the device drivers for SICL and VISA. The PCMCIA Interface Card can perform all the standard HP-IB functions done with PC and workstation controllers using HP-IB. The device driver included with the card allows any SICL/VISA HP-IB applications already developed to work the same way with the PCMCIA Interface Card, without modification (and any applications developed on the laptop and the PCMCIA card works on an ISA/EISA HP-IB Interface).
