HP primary frequency standards deliver unsurpassed accuracy and stability for both laboratory and field applications. They offer improved cesium-beam tube technology to reduce the effects of Ramsey pulling and new beam optics use cesium more efficiently.

The HP 5071A is the first cesium standard to specify its stability for averaging times longer than a day. With a specification for 30-day averaging time, the HP 5071A's performance ensures that your calibration services are available longer.

The HP 55000 Series Ensemble offers unsurpassed accuracy and stablity in a reliable, redundant platform. These systems integrate two or more HP 5071A cesium standards in a complete rack-mounted configuration along with an intelligent controller to manage the system. With configured with an HP 58503A GPS receiver, the system is able to monitor UTC (USNO MC) and provide a highly accurate timescale.
