German Use of Industrial Camoflage

German use of industrial camoflage
After 1941 the German military was aware that high elevation aircraft were photographing western Europe, and after March, 1944, they knew all of former Poland, including theAuschwitz- Birkenau detention camps, were being photographed by aircraft flying from Italian airfields. They therefore made axtensive use of camoflage to conceal and guard important and sensitive installations from being photographed and bombed.
