Helpful Mouse Clicks
====================
o To walk in a direction, press and hold the second mouse button while the
cursor is pointing in the direction you want to move.
o To pick up an object, press and hold the first mouse button on top of the
object. If a shadow of the object appers, this means to are holding the
object in your hand. If a red x appears, it means the object can't be
moved (too heavy, immovable, etc). To add the grasped item to your
inventory, drag the grasped object over your character and let go of
the first mouse button. If a red x appears, you are carrying to much weight
and the object can't be held. If the object dissapears off the screen and
no red x appears, you are now carrying the object.
o Press the second mouse button and hold then press the first mouse button
shortly after. Your man will attempt to jump to where you have the mouse
cursor positioned. This is useful in caves where you have to hop from
stone to stone to cross a bed of water and in other areas where jumping.
You can also jump towards a ledge and your man will grasp on to the ledge
and climb up if it is possible to do so. You cannot jump immovable objects
like walls, fences, tables, dead bodies, and any other object that generally
  can't be walked through
o To initiate battle mode click the second mouse button twice on top of
your character. The mouse pointer should turn red and the musical score
should change tempo and mood. You are now in battle mode.
o The battle mode commands are as follows:
     - Single click the first button to jab at your enemy with your weapon.
     - Double click the first button to lash out with your weapon
     - Single click the second button to advance in the direction that the
mouse cursor is facing. This can also be used to turn around while
in battle mode to face your enemy.
     - Double click the second button to kick at your enemy. This is a
good way to hit your enemies from a distance, while the weapon is good
       for close range combat.

Additional Hints and Tips
=========================

o Wana get drunk? Just drink a lot of wine or any other liquid, then try
to walk around. Your character will stumble, audibly yell "whhooaaahhh",
  and fall over.
o Wana start trippin'? (We know all you guys love 'shrooms, so check this
out!). Eat a lot of the mushrooms (edible ones, NOT the fire mushrooms)
that are found in the kitchens and barrels throughout the land (blue and
green in color). Eat enough of them and the entire screen will start
glowing in all these different hues.. kinda a neat plasma effect.. haha..
now you're trippin.. (the effect will only last about a minute.. buy
some tabs for the real effect).
o Sell your gems that you collect to the woman who buys them in Tenembrae.
You can make quite a lot of money rather quickly by doing this.
o Go to weapons trainers as soon as you have the money (usually around 50
chips to start out). You will have a hard time in battle without the
stat increases that these people will give you. (Don't worry, when you
fight a weapons trainer, and blood flies all over the place, neither of
you are getting hurt.. where's the blood come from? Beat's the fuck outa
  me.. ask Origin!)
o Try to get a lot of Detect Trap scrolls and use them any time you suspect
that a chest might be a trap. Wasting a scroll is a helluva lot better
than getting hurled 20 feet through the air when a chest explodes in your
  face.
o Books suck.. I never have read them in Ultima's of the past.. the only
books you should look for are ones that you can tell are special.. like
"Journal" and such.. other books with no titles are kinda useless.. read
them if you want to, you might find something out, but I don't need um.

Combat Clues
============

o The easiest way I've found to defeat standing monstors such as the
skeleton warriors and the zombies is to stand at a distance and kick them.
The zombies are a waste of time since they carry no treasure but monstors
like the skeleton warriors carry cool weapons, money, gems, and other
  neat things.
o Don't enter combat mode unless you are facing the enemy. It is MUCH easier
to turn around in walking mode than it is in combat mode.

Potions
=======

o Here is what each of the potions do:
     - Yellow Potion: Restores health
     - Green Potion: Poision.. you don't want this
     - Purple Potion: Gives you energy for battle. Very helpful.
     - Black Potion: Turns you invisible for sneaking though places
       undetected.
o DON'T use the invisibility potion for combat. It does nothing for you.
ONLY use it when you need to sneak through somewhere undected. That's its
purpose and that's all it's good for.
o Try and save the purple potions for the harder monstors. Since purple
potions are hard to come by, they can't be used to fight every single
zombie you run across. Use them for harder goals.

Well, I guess that's about it.. please don't edit this textfile without
my permission.. if you have something cool to add to it, E-Mail me on any
good board or on Lords of the Underground and I'll add it along with your
name (I give credit where credit's due). And obviously more versions will
be coming out of this guide as more is found out about this great game.
